ITC Headquarters is on the Move From Holland MI to Hudsonville MI!

June 16th, 2017 by cassiel

For the past few years, ITC headquarters has been heading toward our current situation of “busting-at-the-seams”. ITC employees have been making the most out of every possible space in the Holland facility, by sharing office spaces, reducing the office footprint sizes to squeeze in more people, and jockeying for conference room time as we continued to grow the ITC Team. After an in-depth search, ITC is so excited to announce we finally found that perfect space to call our new home! 3030 Corporate Grove Drive, Hudsonville MI, about fifteen minutes east of our current building, is were ITC will put out our new sign and start down a new path full of growth. ITC is preparing the new building with a complete remodel, gutting the outdated mauve cabinets and counters, taking down walls, building out new space for production and test lab, as well as adding a large common area to support teamwork and collaboration. The last piece of the puzzle is a good size investment in equipping the building with the best and latest technology to streamline our daily customer responses.

Follow our “Holland to Hudsonville” story through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and at www.itc-us.com!

Bicycling Activities in DongGuan City, China

April 6th, 2016 by rebeccav

Family Riding BikesITC’s Asia staff organized a bicycling day for visiting US staff and Asia’s staff and families, at SongShan Lake in DongGuan City in February.

SongShan Lake is a large lake near DongGuan and a great place to ride bicycles during the Spring season. The weather was very comfortable and the water in the lake was very clear. The blue sky was reflected in the lake and new green grass and flowers were growing near the shore.  Breathing in the fresh air of spring gave an appreciation of the environmental effort and sustainable development the government in Guangdong Province is pursuing after the environmental deterioration experienced due to the rapid economic development between 1990 and 2010.  ITC in both the US and Asia are committed to improving the environment of our planet wherever we are located.

Please consider riding a bike or walking more often during the coming months.

ITC Donates to Michigan CASA

December 23rd, 2015 by rebeccav

CASA Office_MaiaRecently ITC donated three Maia desk lamps to the new Michigan CASA office located in Grand Rapids. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. The advocates are volunteers that have been trained and are appointed by a judge to represent a child in family court. They advocate for the best interests of the child and spend time learning and talking with the child about their situation. Advocates become the voice of the child in court and help to prevent children from being placed back into unhealthy or dangerous situations. There are over 14,000 abused and neglected children not being served in Michigan alone. ITC strongly supports the work CASA is doing and is looking forward to helping with future donations, volunteer efforts, etc.

ITC/elio Donate Lights to Local Halloween Event

November 5th, 2015 by rebeccav

Glow In the Park 2015It was a chilly fall evening, but there was still a large turn out for the 2nd annual Glow In The Park in Douglas, Michigan. ITC donated it’s newest product introduction, the Versicolor RGB flexible lighting. The set-up included a 20′ x 40′ tent wrapped in Versicolor and the color changing was controlled by an app downloaded to the organizer, Erin Wilkinson’s phone. Erin stated that the party was a “smashing success” and that they had “over 600 people through the front entrance in the first 30 minutes”. The ITC team was proud and excited to contribute and participate in this local event and can’t wait to see what the Glow In The Park team comes up with next year. Thank you to all the employees that helped plan, set-up and tear down for this event and thank you to Erin Wilkinson for providing us with this great publicity. Click here to see the light in action.

2015 Earth Hour

March 23rd, 2015 by rebeccav

2015 Earth HourOn Saturday, March 28,  2015 at 8:30pm, ITC Incorporated and our employees will join hundreds of millions of people across the globe in switching off the lights of our business premises and our homes for one
hour – Earth Hour, to help change climate change. By taking part in this global ‘LIGHTS OFF’ event we will be acknowledging our commitment to personal and operational actions that go beyond the hour and will benefit the planet in 2015.

We would like to invite you, to join us in what promises to be an amazing and inspiring global celebration of our collective commitment to the planet.

In the past year ITC has been analyzing what we can do to reduce our impact on the earth and improve our business. A few of the changes that we have implemented include:

  • Increasing our recycling program in our offices, shipping, and manufacturing areas with the addition of more recycling bins and opportunities to reuse, reduce, and recycle packing materials.
  • Reviewed our water usage in manufacturing and testing areas and installed closed systems allowing us to cut down on the amount of waste water.
  • Installed LED lighting in our manufacturing areas to improve the quality and quantity of light for our team members while reducing our electricity usage and cost. Within most of our office areas we have removed at least some of the fluorescent tube lighting in the ceiling fixtures and rely more on our LED desk task lights.

In 2015 ITC plans to continue to look at ways our company can operate more efficiently, waste less, and reduce our environmental footprint as our commitment goes beyond the hour for Earth Hour.

Sustainable practices aren’t just good for the bottom line. We all have a stake in the future of our planet and must learn to operate in ways that don’t deplete our world’s limited natural resources.

Earth Hour began as a single-city initiative – in Sydney, Australia – in 2007 and has since grown into a global movement with hundreds of millions of people from more than 7,000 cities and towns in 162 countries/territories across every continent switching off their lights for Earth Hour, creating history as the world’s greatest environmental action.

Participating in Earth Hour on Saturday, March 28 at 8:30-9:30 p.m. is easy, fun and absolutely free – just turn off your lights!

For more information visit www.earthhour.org and celebrate with the people of the world your commitment to the one thing we all have in common – the planet.
